CHELTENHAM NATIONAL HUNT FESTIVAL AND OTHER RACES

Approximately 40 minutes from Blaentrothy Cottage is the home of national hunt racing. Cheltenham is best known for the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival which takes place in March each year. The top three-day meeting of the jump racing season sees a huge crowd gather to watch the exploits of the best jockeys and horses from all over Britain, Ireland and Europe. Cheltenham race course has great facilities and is overlooked by the splendid Cotswold Hills.
