Honeypot Cottage is a perfectly restored traditional Gloucestershire cottage constructed from warm, inside-of-a-Malteser-coloured Cotswold stone. A short distance from the high street, by way of a small lane, it is conveniently close to all the lovely shops in Chipping Campden, while being well tucked away from any noise or town bustle. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs all within walking distance of The Honeypot. After a drink or a delicious meal one can meander back home without having to get in a car or taxi.
Honeypot Cottage is close to many interesting places to visit. Chipping Campden is ideal for visiting nearby towns, such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Cheltenham ( home of the famous Gold Cup), and all the beautiful, smaller towns and villages, like the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway. The cottage is perfectly placed for garden enthusiasts, too: close to Chipping Campden are the two famous gardens, Kiftsgate Court, home of the biggest rose in England, and Hidcote Manor Gardens with its seasonal maize maze. Snowshill Manor, Sudeley Castle and Painswick Rococco Garden are all within striking distance - to name but a very few of all the wonderful opportunities for days out.

The cottage itself is small but perfectly formed, and really cosy, with all the mod-cons essential for a relaxing holiday or short break. It has gas central heating throughout, but for those who enjoy a real fire, the woodburning stove in the sitting-room provides a cosy atmosphere in which to relax and read, play some of the games provided, or enjoy the digital television with built-in DVD / freeview. The front door opens out onto a little south-facing grass sitting-out area - perfect for meals or relaxing outside in the sunshine.
Downstairs, the cottage comprises a fully equipped galley kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, and a beautiful, traditional butler's sink; a cosy living-room with dining area, sitting area and wood burning stove. Upstairs, the lovely bathroom has a separate shower cubicle and a roll top slipper bath, ideal for relaxing in with a glass of wine after a day's walking on the many local footpaths and trails, including the famous Cotswolds Way. The master bedroom has a charming double bed with a memory-foam mattress, and the pretty second bedroom has a Victorian-style day bed which can easily convert into a king-size bed, or two singles, if required. A baby's travel cot can be provided if needed.
